In a large saucepan, melt 0.25 cup butter over medium-high heat. 2. Add the ground beef. 3. Season the beef with 2 teaspoons salt, 0.5 teaspoon allspice, 0.5 teaspoon cinnamon, and 0.5 teaspoon black pepper. 4. Cook and stir the beef until it is browned and crumbly. This will take 7 to 10 minutes. 5. Drain any excess fat if needed. 6. Add 5 cups chicken stock and 2 cups rice to the browned beef in the saucepan. 7. Bring the mixture to a boil. 8. Reduce the heat to low. 9. Cover the saucepan with a lid. 10. Cook until all the liquid is absorbed by the rice. This will take about 20 minutes. 11. While the rice is cooking, melt 2 tablespoons butter in a small skillet over medium heat. 12. Add 0.5 cup pine nuts to the melted butter. 13. Cook and stir the pine nuts until they are lightly browned. This will take 3 to 5 minutes. 14. Once the rice is cooked, stir the toasted pine nuts into the beef-rice mixture. 15. Serve the Syrian Rice with Meat immediately.
